From seafood and local specialties to classic Venetian combinations, each tasting introduces you to a different side of the city’s food culture.
But this tour is about more than simply tasting the food. Along the way, your local guide will share the stories, ingredients and traditions behind what you’re eating, explain how cicchetti became such an important part of everyday Venetian life, and show you how locals really eat and drink in the city.
You’ll visit carefully selected locally favourite spots, discovering the kind of places and flavors that can be difficult to find when exploring Venice on your own. With 10 different tastings, there’s plenty to eat - come hungry, as the food is enough to replace your lunch or dinner.
And Venice isn’t only meant to be discovered on foot.
After tasting your way through the city, step aboard a traditional gondola for a 30-minute gondola ride through the canals. Sit back and experience Venice from the water, passing historic buildings, bridges and quiet waterways from an entirely different perspective.
This isn’t a quick traghetto crossing or the gondolino from one side of the Grand Canal to the other. You’ll enjoy a proper 30-minute gondola experience, giving you time to relax and take in the city from its most famous viewpoint.

Rain Contingency: The walking tour runs rain or shine. If the gondola portion cannot take place due to inclement weather, the rest of the tour will proceed as planned, and you will receive an automatic refund of €25 per person.
