Description
Experience Venice by water alongside Nicoló and Aleksandra, members of a prominent local rowing club. Improve your kayaking skills while exploring the authentic canals of Canareggio and Castello, areas known for the world’s first ghetto, the Medieval Arsenal, Venetian Gothic palaces, and Renaissance churches. This class combines physical activity with historical insights, revealing Venice’s water sports traditions.
Your visit includes a tour of a historically significant Venetian rowing club, which offers a deeper understanding of the city’s culture and contemporary life. Participating helps support the club’s restoration and maintenance, as part of your fee is donated directly to this cause.

Important Information
- Participants must sign a waiver and release of liability.
- Classes may be rescheduled due to weather or club schedule changes. You will be contacted if this occurs.
- The instructor may cancel without refund if requirements are not met or if the participant is intoxicated.
- Physical exertion is required. Paddlers should have basic skills and be in suitable physical condition:
- Maximum weight: 120 kg for men, 100 kg for women
- Must fit into kayak cabin size 80 cm long by 40 cm wide
- No serious disabilities or pregnancy allowed
- Water conditions often include waves up to 30-40 cm and boat traffic.
- Children may share a double kayak with parents or instructors.
- Single-person bookings may be combined with other groups.
