Description
Discover the fascinating art of glassmaking with an authentic and engaging experience in the Castello district in the heart of Venice: during this workshop you will have the opportunity to create a real Murano glass bead with your own hands. Guided by Moulaye, a master glassmaker for over 20 years, you will delve into the heart of the traditional lampworking technique, using the blowtorch to melt the glass and shape it with precision.
During the activity, you will discover the fundamental principles of glassmaking, from managing the flame to rotating the molten material, to the final decoration of the bead. The experience takes place at our workshop, 5 minutes from San Marco, and is designed both for curious beginners and for those who want to learn more about a unique artisanal technique that is a symbol of Venetian tradition. The beads made during the workshop will be delivered to you after 24 hours, following a slow tempering process in the ashes.
