Description

Escape Venice crowds and explore the Dolomites with stops at Lake Santa Croce, Pieve di Cadore, Cortina, Lake Auronzo, and Lake Misurina. The route includes tunnels revealing dramatic canyons and valleys.

The first stop is Lake Santa Croce, where you can admire Dolomite peaks reflected in crystal-clear waters. Next, visit Pieve di Cadore for a short walk and optional cappuccino.

Continue to Lake Auronzo, passing mountain villages before reaching Lake Misurina. Here, enjoy a lakeside stroll and optional lunch with impressive views of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo and the Sorapis and Marmolada mountain ranges.

You may take the Faloria panoramic chairlift (not included) to “Col del Varda” at 2106 meters for additional mountain views and fresh air. After lunch, proceed to Cortina d’Ampezzo, known as the “Pearl of the Dolomites.” You will have about 30 minutes to explore Cortina and its mountain scenery.

Cortina will host part of the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games. After the visit, return by minivan to Venice, completing the day.
