Dolomites Small-Group Tour from Venice by Minivan

Explore the UNESCO-listed Dolomites on a small-group tour from Venice, ideal for up to eight travelers seeking a personalized alpine experience.

Description

Travel comfortably by Mercedes minivan to Cortina d’Ampezzo, a renowned alpine town surrounded by rugged peaks. Continue along scenic mountain roads to crystal-clear lakes, including Lake Misurina, where you have free time to walk the shoreline or relax at a lakeside café.

In summer, you can optionally take the Col de Varda chairlift (€13 per person, not included) to a mountain hut offering panoramic views of Lake Misurina and the Sorapis and Monte Cristallo massifs. Nearby Lake Antorno provides quieter alpine scenery and excellent photo opportunities.

Your driver-guide will lead several stops at viewpoints showcasing the iconic Tre Cime di Lavaredo (Three Peaks). Enjoy unhurried breaks for photography, short walks, and insights into local history, geology, and traditions before returning to Venice around 6:00 pm.

From late autumn to winter, the route focuses on Cortina, Lake Braies (Pragser Wildsee), and the village of San Candido/Innichen near the Austrian border, including visits to Christmas markets when in season.
