If St. Mark’s Basilica is unexpectedly closed, visit the 15th-century Church of San Zaccaria and its crypt or the Correr Museum, depending on availability. Here, you can explore a beautifully ornate church or discover Venice’s art and history.
Next, enter Doge’s Palace via priority access. Explore former government rooms such as the Chamber of the Great Council and courtrooms, with highlights including Tintoretto frescoes and the Giants’ Staircase.
