Venice Lagoon Boat Tour with Prosecco
This guided wooden boat tour explores Venice’s lagoon, ideal for nature lovers seeking a quiet alternative to the busy historic center.
Description
Venice is renowned for its history and art, but its lagoon offers unique natural beauty and delicate ecosystems often overlooked by tourists. This tour takes place on a traditional wooden boat with a local guide, providing access to parts of the lagoon not reachable by foot.
You will pass the historic Arsenale, a symbol of Venetian naval power and one of Europe's earliest industrial complexes, surrounded by three kilometers of walls. The tour continues past Vignole Island, once a holiday retreat for early Venetians, and Lazzaretto Nuovo, which served as a quarantine station since 1468 with archaeological evidence of Bronze Age settlements.
The tour includes a stop at a “Ghebo” shaded area where, upon request and included in the price, you can enjoy prosecco while watching the colors of the sunset. Departure time and tour duration can be adjusted by contacting the guide in advance.
