Description
The Enrico Dandolo Submarine measures 46 meters long and nearly 5 meters wide. It is one of the first four submarines designed during the Cold War era, featuring silent movement, agility, and advanced technology never used offensively. Located within Venice’s Ancient Arsenal, the submarine is open to visitors with a special ticket.
Your ticket includes a two-day pass to the MUNAV Naval Historical Museum, a 5-minute walk from Piazza San Marco beside the Arsenal. Owned by the Italian Navy, MUNAV covers 6,000 square meters over five floors, showcasing Venice’s maritime history through extensive exhibits.
