Description

Discover the art of glass blowing on the Island of Murano and enjoy a boat ride which is a MUST-DO in Venice! Avoid the super crowded public means of transport and take a private boat to live a boat ride in the best possible way! You will go from Venice to the Gino Mazzuccato Glass Factory, still a family business, where you can learn more about the processes involved and admire the final results. Find the boat at Fondamenta Nuove, and board it to start the tour. It will be easy to find the boat because it will have a Get Your Guide sign. The taxi driver will drive you directly to the private dock of the glass factory, no intermediate stops, and there you will start the visit. You will see a glass production demo with our Murano Glass Master that is involved in the glass production for almost 30 years, he will use the traditional techniques, like the glass blowing and the sculpture ones. A member of the team of the glass factory will explain the passages of the production while you will see our glass master working. At the end of the demonstration you will visit the showroom with the greatest collection of artworks made by the best local artists, as our family collaborates with the most important glass masters of Murano. As we want to thank you for visiting our Glass Factory, you will be given an Artistic Glass Gift from us, our way to thank you for your visit. The Gift is handmade by our Glass Master, that you will know during the demo, and has a certification of authenticity
