Description
Enjoy a guided tour to one of the most popular areas of Venice: Via Garibaldi and San Pietro di Castello. Walk along the large Riva degli Schiavoni to reach the Arsenale and Via Garibaldi, a large street with many bars, osterias, restaurants and shops. At the end of this street you will cross a long wooden bridge to reach the site of San Pietro di Castello. This was the former Basilica of Venice, while San Marco was still the Doge’s chapel. Discover this interesting area and learn about the history of the city and its inhabitants. This area is very popular, where all workers of Arsenale used to live in the past. Still now local people gather in these little squares to enjoy life chatting and drinking a glass of wine. If you want to get a taste of life in Venice this tour is for you!Includes
