• Photography is not allowed only inside the Cathedral.
• Please wear clothes that cover your shoulders and are knee-length to access St Mark’s Basilica, otherwise you might not be allowed in.
• A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements
• For security reasons sacks, bags or knapsacks are not allowed inside the Basilica and Doge's Palace.
• The storage service is free of charge but please allow sufficient time to do so.
• Due to recent safety concerns, some lines to enter the Doge's Palace may occur even for skip-the-line ticket holders.
• Note that smoking is not allowed on the boat.
• It is not possible to bring bulky baggage of more than 16 liters in size onto the boat.
