Hotel Sant'Antonin
Venice
レビュー
This is a fantastic hotel. The staff are incredible! Honestly, cannot say enough good things about the staff -- very friendly and accommodating. We were able to leave our luggage for a couple of hours until check-in and after check-out, still enjoy the gardens and use the bathroom in the lobby. If coming back to Venice, I would absolutely stay here again. The hotel has great air conditioning, a sizable garden area open to the guests, a great library section on the first floor, good breakfast, and good location. The entryway also features a long outdoor area in the front that feels very chic. Bathrooms were a great -- including the amenities one would expect, plus slippers for after the shower. They also have a bidet. Regarding the location, you'll either want to take a water taxi straight there (~100 euro), or the water bus (~10 euro/person) then it'll be a ~10-15 min walk avg (from San Zaccaria area). They were able to accommodate our family of 4 in a good sized room overlooking the garden (I believe we had a "family room"). Our room also had a sitting room off the bathroom.
We really enjoyed our stay (a return visit!). The rooms are spacious and very clean, the breakfast is fresh and tasty (kids loved pancakes), the location is incredible (5 min to San Marco square but also on a very quite street away from the crowds). The service is above and beyond. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and when I asked for a recommendation to get a birthday cake, the hotel purchased one for us to celebrate our son’s birthday! Of all the desserts he got that day, he said this cake was his favorite :) We hope to be back.
Great experience! We were there for seven nights, so when I tell you the staff go above and beyond to assist you and are very professional, please believe me! The breakfast is great, the cappuccinos wonderful, and the rooms well-cleaned. I like that this hotel is in a more residential and quite area while still close to San Marco's Square. There are many restaurants and shops within a few minutes, and several water bus stops close by. I wholeheartedly recommend!
Nice Hotel, with amazing Garden and great breakfast. The receptionists are very nice. We were happy with our room even though we had the cheapest one. The cleaning lady of the breakfast area was rushing the cleaning a bit and started removing items during the designated breakfast time. A great addition: the chance to leave your baggage into their deposit even after checking out.
Don’t fall for the instagram pics. They are not accurate. There is a courtyard but it doesn’t look like the photos and it’s really not that usable (no real seating)and it’s quite small. This was the allure and why I booked this place. I imagined coffee time and space to breathe. The disappointment was real when I get here. Cramped, small and way overpriced. The room we stayed in was not like the pics either. Very shabby-not chic. For $400 per night, I was expecting a lot more. And we were there in the shoulder season. Still hella crowded by the way. In all the other places we’ve stayed around Italy, $400 will get you luxury, not what we got at Hotel Sant’Antonin. We left very dissatisfied with our Venice experience. I went to post pics and realized I had taken none of the hotel. It was that underwhelming.
