Palazzo dei Mori
Venice
レビュー
The hotel fully matches the character of Venice and creates an uplifting mood at the first sight. Amazing interior, cleanliness, central location, transport accessibility, delicious breakfast and very pleasant staff who are always ready to help, share information and listen - all these characteristics are associated with this hotel. I hope to return to Venice again and choose Palazzo dei Mori again.
I very, very rarely write reviews but for this small hotel I must. After a disappointing start elsewhere due to unexpected very loud building works directly inside our foyer, we were very lucky to find this small, newly renovated hotel around the corner. Set down a quiet little street, it was peaceful and perfectly placed for exploring. The welcome we received was exceptional - from the very start we were treated like family. As you will see on their website the room was spacious and elegantly decorated and felt calm. Enjoyed complimentary morning and afternoon tea with home-baked cakes plus excellent restaurant recommendations from the very kind (and efficient) receptionist. Their photo of the pink exterior really doesn't do it justice - it is far more charming and luxurious in reality. A true home from home. We would definitely go back.
Palazzo Dei Mori is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. Following a recent remodel, this boutique hotel is quite stunningly beautiful, and the entire staff could not possibly be more attentive and helpful. We also found the breakfast service to be outstanding... even offering prosecco to go along with your orange juice! The location is just enough off the beaten path to make you feel a bit more like a local than a tourist, with many shops and fine restaurants nearby. Check out the boats in/out of Ospedale for a fun and nearby way to get either to/from Marco Polo airport or the main Venice railroad terminal. People who have difficulty navigating steps should note that there are two flights to deal with, but the staff very quickly spirits your bags both to and from your room. If you can handle these steps, and I hope you can given that Venice is very much a walker's city with MANY bridge steps, I'm confident that you'll find staying in this fine hotel to be a wonderful experience.
This hotel is so lovely. It’s tucked away in a quiet, more residential part of Venice, but a 5 minute walk to all the best spots! The receptionist, Sabrina, was an absolute doll. She gave us great recommendations for places to eat and sights to see. She really made our experience that much better, such a sweetheart and always wanting to make our stay even better! The hotel itself is gorgeous, the rooms are big and beautiful, and the free breakfast is great. Such a nice, quiet place to stay, away from all the crowds. If we ever return to Venice, we will absolutely stay here again!
