The food was really fresh and cooked perfectly however needed more seasoning to be on another level. We got the octopus salad to start and the octopus was cooked perfectly and not chewy at all but needed so me more acidity. For main course we got the spaghetti with rock crab and the grilled monkfish. The monkfish again cooked perfectly but needed salt.
We had the caprese salad and seafood as our main courses, both were amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly, and they even prepared gluten free bread for me.
If you’re visiting Venice, this is definitely a place you should stop by but it’s best to make a reservation in advance. We found it by chance while looking for a place for dinner, and even though we didn’t have a reservation, they kindly managed to arrange a table for us. We chose grilled sea bass and paired it with a Langhe Nebbiolo 2022 red wine both were absolutely delicious. The staff were extremely polite and attentive, and the service was very well organized. The classical music playing in the background added a special touch to the atmosphere. To finish, we had tiramisu, and it was excellent—the perfect ending to a great meal. Overall, it was a truly enjoyable experience in terms of ambiance, food, and service. Highly recommended for a quality and memorable dinner in Venice.
Best lasagna and tiramisu I have ever had. The owner is also the chef and he brings great vibes to the restaurant. My waiter told me he wakes up at 4am to go to the fish market daily. I will never forget this place.
Our meal was so good here that we came back twice in one day! Definitely our favorite restaurant in Venice! The staff were incredibly friendly and the food was incredible! The menu is very substantial and has a ton of great pasta and seafood options. We enjoyed our lunch so much that we canceled our dinner plans with another restaurant and came back to try other dishes and wines for dinner and were SO glad that we did. We loved that we were able to get amarone wine by the glass! (Photos are from our dinner)
