We loved it. The crowd, the location, the service and the food is amazing. Took some Cicchetti while waiting with our beer. The guys pay good attention to crown and not mixing up. He gave us a good tip on the food to have good portiin and not toomuch. I suggest to ask in order not to have too much. Wine was lovely and great match with the meat. Highly recommend it.

My partner and I came here due to some recommendations from the locals and we had to wait 15 minutes for a table as it was very busy and vibing. The owner was lovely and explained to wait around for us to get a drink at the bar and to be called when our table was ready. The food was delicious and great value for money! We had seen an altercation with others guests and don’t feel this was portrayed the right way with their reviews. Don’t be swayed by their perspective. Amazing atmosphere and staff were wonderful. Highly recommend!

The food was great but we waited more than hour to be served, there were too many people waiting in the queue. And on the menu the price was written as 7 Euros sth like that but we paid 73 euros for the beef menu, I think they should have informed us beforehand. The atmosphere was also good, while waiting we took pictures on a boat in front of the restaurant which was free, the boat belonged to restaurant itself. As a result we don't regret our meal and wanna thank the waiter who looked like Jose Mourinho, for his kindness :)

Food was pretty good and the waitress (lady) was nice and polite. Apart from this I don’t really recommend this place for the tourists. We’ve been told that the only way to secure the table is to order the main dish. At the beginning we just wanted to drink something and eat some chichetas (small sandwiches) and spend some time together. Then we decided that we will order the big plate of steak, so we could order the rest of the stuff. We asked for the 2 people portion as we were with our mums (seniors) and they don’t eat much. We’ve been served almost 2kg steak. Which is 500 gram per person. I can’t imagine it beeing for two people. The next thing was the locals that were coming and siting next to us were ordering the wine and chicetas without any problem (they apparently didn’t have to order the main dishes). The two waiters (male) were just unpleasant and arrogant - favoring the local people, and the tourists ofc like almost enemies. They gave us the check to the table but forgot to inform that we should pay at the bar. So we were sitting additional 25 minutes more waiting for the payment. There are many other places that you can go in Venice to be treated nicely. But if you just want the good and you don’t care about the service, go on it’s pretty nice.

It’s clear the winner at this spot is their steaks. Service was very good despite how busy they were; they seated me when their kitchen was closing soon and still took my order. Unfortunately for me, a solo traveler, they only serve their steaks to parties of 2 or more. The steak plate looked splendid, but I ordered the gnocchi. It was really soft on the inside, served piping hot. The meat sauce was flavorful, but lacked any depth or any character that made it shine — but it was good, in any case. Perhaps I will give it 5 stars next time i come and try the steak. Come here, they’ll take great care of you.
