Fantastic little gem! Great traditional dishes, great service, Roberto is fantastic! Ask him about specials and wine pairing. Really good experience, just 6 minutes walk off the main tourist area of Venice. Highly recommended.

Everything we had here was amazing. Definitely worth a stop. Chefs lasagna, seabass, squid ink pasta and chocolate and pear cake were really delicious but the eggplant parmesan and gnocchi with garganzola and walnut were the stand out items. We kept coming back and eating more things from the menu because everything we had was absolutely delicious. This was the best restaurant we ate at during our entire stay in Italy and we will be back just to eat here again! Jason and Roberto were amazing servers and we really felt welcomed. It's a cute, small restaurant with air conditioning with amazing food. I only took pictures the first day of the chefs lasagna and the chocolate and pear cake because we were too excited to eat the food the other days! Chefs lasagna tasted like mushroom and truffle when we went, unsure if it changes.

★★★★★ Al Vecio Marangon was one of the highlights of our time in Venice. Tucked away on a quiet little corner, it's the kind of place you could easily walk past without realizing what a gem it is. The food was consistently delicious—every dish we ordered was excellent—but what truly made this restaurant special was the service. When we first stopped by to make a reservation, we met Antonio. Within minutes, we knew we'd found something special, and after our first meal we ended up making reservations for all 3 nights of our stay in Venice. Antonio has a rare gift for hospitality. He makes you feel like you've been friends your entire life. He remembered our favorite dishes, our preferences, and always greeted us like family. As parents traveling with three young children, we especially appreciated his patience and kindness. Dining out with little ones can sometimes be stressful, but Antonio made us feel completely welcome every single night. His warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care transformed dinner from a meal into an experience we looked forward to every day. The food brought us in, but Antonio is the reason we kept coming back. If you're looking for authentic Venetian hospitality, outstanding service, and delicious food, Al Vecio Marangon is an absolute must-visit. We can't wait to return. Grazie, Antonio! 🇮🇹❤️

Loved dining here so much that we returned back to back days. Professional and attentive service coupled with incredible food. We had the caprese and Greek salad. Both were delicious, but we preferred the latter. The cod stuffed ravioli and tagliatelle with muscles are very good. The tagliatelle with pesto sauce was also incredible.

It is an nice place which provides authentic Venice food. All the dishes were very beautiful and tasteful. The service was also very good. We got two free shots of lemoncello after finishing all our food. And I do love the jokes from the humorous waiter! By the way, We ordered a bottle of local Veneto red wine, the sommelier must be experienced, the wine quality was beyond my expectation.
