Antico Forno is a great pizza place right in the center of Venice. We tried it after walking around the city for a long time, and it felt like exactly what we needed at that moment. The pizza was really delicious. We ordered the Norma pizza with eggplant, and it was full of flavor and very satisfying. The eggplant made it taste a bit special compared to a regular pizza, and we really enjoyed it. The dough was also very good, soft inside with a nice crust. The place itself is very small, with only about 5 seats inside. If you’re lucky enough to find a spot, it’s great, especially after a long day of walking through Venice. Otherwise, you might have to take it to go, but even then it’s worth it. One small downside was the music, which wasn’t really to my taste. But on the positive side, the staff were kind enough to let us charge our phones there, which was really helpful after a long day out. Overall, it’s a simple but excellent pizza spot in Venice that I would happily visit again.

This was our first stop in Venice to grab a slice of focaccia pizza to share. It was great! Different than your typical pizza you think of in Italy but definitely worth a try! The staff is incredibly kind and helpful! We sat inside to eat our quick snack and drink a beer before exploring the streets. I do not remember which pizza we got but it was one of their most popular.

Honestly, I found the food in Venice pretty disappointing overall, but this place was probably the best thing I ate there. My first time trying focacia pizza. A slice was €5.70 which isn’t cheap, however I’d come here than go to the popular dal moro’s. My only complaint is that I found it on my last day because I definitely would’ve returned. The focaccia was cooked well with a nice crispy bottom, and the whole thing was tasty . Venice isn’t known for pizza, but this place was exactly my kind of pizza and one I’d happily recommend it.

This little pizzaria has played an integral part in making this trip a once in a lifetime experience for me. I wasn't even a deep tray pizza crust type of person but they converted me so effortlessly with the fluffy and yet light dough garnished with just the right amount of toppings to make each bite so substantial. The thin crust pizza is one of the best I've ever had if not THE best. The prize of these pizzas freshly baked with the Italian honesty and genuine passion for great food they pride themselves on is so refreshingly affordable. I will sure come back again as there are still a handful of toppings I didn't get to try yet. Thank you once again for being so great at what you do.

Yes, it is true, this place has awesome pizza, probably the best in Venice. Don't let the thickness of the pizza convince you otherwise, it's actually very soft and light biting in air. When you order slices, they give them a little toasting, and then they are so delicious. Better than a thin crust. I loved it, had it our first night in Venice, and then again a couple of nights later. My wife and I loved it so much, we went back the same night for a second order! Super friendly staff too. Yeah, it can get busy, but my wife and I ordered a glass of wine and beer and chilled outside waiting for our food, and we had takeaway twice in one night.
