Nice little spot in Giudecca. Very tasty Venetian tapas cicchetti. Good pricing too. Perfect to grab a snack and have a drink overlooking the chanel. Attention: kitchen only open for lunch

Great lunch at La Palanca. We shared a tuna tagliata to start, then moved on to a round of first courses: sea bass ravioli, spaghetti with prawns, and a grilled sea bass. Everything came out fresh and well cooked, the service was attentive without being pushy, and the view/location really adds to the experience. Would go back.

I LOVED this place! It was one of my favourite places of the trip to eat. The location is fantastic, with a view of Venice without the busyness. Our server was very friendly and recommended the mixed seafood starter which we got and was so glad we did because it was amazing, so flavourful! The anchovies were marinated in olive oil and lemon which really came through. The whipped cod was also so tasty. I wish I took a picture! I shared a sea bass ravioli dish with my partner (only because we wanted a light lunch) and this was also so so good. The drinks were great, my aperol spritz was not watered down. It has a nice chilled atmosphere. I loved it all and I only wish I had more time on my trip to go back!

We were there on Thursday, April 16. The weather was beautiful and the view of the water was wonderful. We ordered fish ravioli - it was absolutely delicious, the fish was juicy and so pleasantly sea-like. For the main course we ordered: spaghetti with shrimps and asparagus and the fish of the day - this time it was squid/calmari. Everything was absolutely delicious. Shrimps and Asparagus and a deliciously creamy sauce went perfectly with the pasta. However, when it comes to squid, we have never eaten them and we were very surprised how tasty they are. Very soft, perfectly seasoned - with the addition of green leaves - I don't know what it was, but it complemented the taste of the squid perfectly. We will remember them forever. For dessert we ate Tiramisu and Panna Cotta - both delicious. Although the strawberries won the dessert battle. Additionally, very good wines. But most importantly - 100-star service. ⭐️We felt taken care of as if we were at home, with an aunt or grandmother. Everyone asked if we liked it, if we needed anything, etc. Our hearts were stolen by a middle-aged gentleman who spoke beautifully about the dishes and asked if we liked them. After lunch he went home - so maybe he was the boss or the head cook. A very nice man ❤️

It's really easy to find and easy to get o by boat. Definitely worth the visit. The taste is local at first I thought it was slightly on the salty side (fish speciality) but as Iade my way through the meal it wasn't at all, it was delicious! Really good and has many other customers who returned tome and again. So yes a hit!!!!
