This was, without question, one of the most unforgettable culinary experiences we had in Italy. From the very first bite, it was clear that this is far more than just a café—it's a place where passion, tradition, and genuine hospitality come together. Chef Nikki masterfully combines the timeless flavors of traditional Italian cuisine with the heartwarming comfort of Eastern European home cooking, especially from Moldova and Ukraine. Every dish is crafted with incredible attention to detail, and you can truly taste the love in every bite. The breakfast was simply phenomenal. Everything was unbelievably fresh—from the warm, homemade bread to the perfectly prepared eggs and every ingredient in between. It reminded us of the kind of breakfast your grandparents would proudly make: honest, wholesome, and absolutely delicious. The café also has an excellent selection of gluten-free options, the service is warm, friendly, and incredibly efficient, and the welcoming atmosphere makes you want to stay all morning. We enjoyed it so much that we couldn't resist coming back again! If you're visiting Venice, do yourself a favor and don't miss this hidden gem. It's the kind of place you'll be telling your friends about long after your trip is over. One visit is enough to understand why this place is so special. We can't recommend it highly enough!

We went here for breakfast and everything was just lovely! The food, the service, the price and the little enclosed garden in the back, it was all great. Definitely sit in the garden if the weather is good. We had the brioche with omelet, avocado, cherry tomatoes and pickled red onions. And we had the brioche with avocado and eggs. The avocado was delicious, the brioche as well, but the the real highlight was the eggs. They were perfect, which is rare. The yolk was still fluid, but the little bit of egg white that's always on top of and around the yolk was not. I always order my egg like this and normally either the yolk is solid or the white around the yolk is still fluid and i have to scrape it off. But this was just wonderfull. The price was also very reasonable for food and plain cheap for coffee (€1 for coffee, €2 for a double espresso & €2 for a cappucino) Lastly the service. Everyone was nice and accommodating, but a special thanks to the younger blonde woman. She was really nice and gave a big smile with every interaction. Which makes all the difference in how the service is perceived. Most waiters, especially in venice (or maybe even italy), can and should learn a thing or two from her. Too bad we found this on the last day so i won't be returning anytime soon, but if i'm ever in venice again, this will be my go to for breakfast!

After a week and a half of pastries, we wanted a breakfast more familiar to us (Canadians) and I found Niki Bar, which is family owned and run by women. I ordered the maple syrup pancakes and asked for fruit as an extra. My mom ordered the avocado toast with egg and added bacon. Both meals were super delicious. Also ordered orange juice and a cappuccino which were both great. It's easy to get to as it's just down the alley from the waterbus stop if you're coming that way or a short walk if you're near the train station. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I definitely recommend eating here.

We absolutely loved our experience here. Food came out fast, warm, and fresh. Their freshly-squeezed juices were amazing, it immediately makes you feel healthy! We had to go back twice during our short stay in Venice. The ladies who work there are very kind, and we will miss this hidden gem! Their yogurt bowl was a literal fresh fruit bomb, and we loved it. 🍓

Wonderful breakfast. We were just walking Venice and ended up here. The sign in the window left is no choice but to go in and try them. Breakfast was perfect! I had the avocado omelette and my husband had the scrambled eggs with bacon. The subtle flavor combinations were perfection. You must try this wonderful cafe!
