Reviews
Excellent food and drinks! The Hugo spritz was the best I’ve had so far in Italy. The pastas are delicious as well.
Great cicchetti and service. We had a few different flavors and the roast beef was our favorite. Their polpette was also quite delicious. The tea service was quite impressive, they served on a platter with many types of fruit and pastries. The pastiera napoletana is the most delicious pastry we’ve ever had! We were thoroughly impressed.
The location has 4 tables for 2 outside by the canal and about 5 tables for 4 indoor. Prices are very reasonable. They have a display of cicchetti (tapas) on display for €4 ea (standard for Venice) plus a food menu, extensive wine selection, 2 beers on tap. Two large beets (40 cl), 3 tapas and a breaded and fried zucchini flower cost a total of €42. This includes cover charge of €10 (for 2 people) which represents 20% of the total charge and is VERY HIGH compared to other restaurants. Unless you are going for a full meal, the coperta makes this restaurant a poor value
A Venetian gem! We missed out the first night because they closed at 11 PM, but I’m so glad I returned. The cicchetti (Venetian tapas) were incredible, and the dinner menu was even better. Sitting by the canal with a refreshing Aperol Spritz, even in the February chill, was such a vibe. Super cute spot with authentic flavors. Don't arrive too late or you'll miss out!
We had a great dinner at Oficina Ormesini, atmosphere, service and the food were above average. It is true that prices tend to be on the high side but the quality of ingredients makes up for the prices. Both pasta dishes were flawless, wonderful fresh flavours and impeccable presentation. Cicchettis were mostly very good and we loved the extended selection in the front counter. Wine selection is extensive and we ended up ordering a magnificent white wine with our meal. Service was friendly and welcoming, not too fast, not too slow, striking a perfect balance for a wonderful summer evening. Inside atmosphere is quiet and amicable. Overall it was a wonderful evening on a busy night in Venice (Ferragosto) and the staff performed like artists of the table. Recommended without hesitation.
