It was a wonderful restaurant located on a colorful and beautiful island. The staff were very cheerful and kind, and they provided excellent service. I was also impressed that they spoke to us in Japanese. The squid ink pasta and grilled seafood weren’t just visually stunning, they were truly delicious, with a rich umami flavor from the seafood! Grazie mille!!
The experience here was as authentic as you can get. We took them up on the chef special which was an authentic Venetian dish of pasta with lobster and a red sauce. I immediately regretted wearing white...😅😅 It was messy...really messy...but really, really good. We followed it up with again a recommended S cookie with heated marsala wine where you dip the cookie in for ten seconds to soak up the wine and then eat...being honest the cookie was a bit dry but I read about both the dish and the cookie online and understanding the tradition involved made the experience unforgettable. The experience when embraced is truly worth it.
Ostaria ae Bandiere is a fantastic place to eat in Burano. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was warm, friendly, and attentive. Great atmosphere, excellent quality, and a truly enjoyable experience. Highly recommended! 😊🍽️🇮🇹
Hidden away from all the tourists, service was excellent and the food was unique and delicious! Ordered the bacalao mantecato, like fish dip on top of bite size polenta. Mixed seafood platter was also delicious. Definitely recommend this place.
The service was excellent. We ordered the squid ink pasta and clam pasta. The oysters were also very fresh. The squid ink pasta was delicious the flavors and presentation were perfectly balanced. Highly recommended!
