We had a wonderful first lunch in Venice the other day. I had the lobster tagliatelle in a tomato sauce which was delicious! The lobster was full of flavour and tasted very fresh. The pasta was also delicious and the sauce nice and light. My partner had the fish lasagna which she really enjoyed! We finished off with a fruit tart for dessert. It's a really nice place to have a meal because it's a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets of Venice, so it's a good escape from the chaos to enjoy a lovely meal by a more quiet canal. Thank you for the delicious meal!
We came across this restaurant by chance, and the staff were very friendly from the start. They guided us to our table and clearly explained the pricing for both red and white wines. Even when it got busier later on, the service remained attentive. The lobster pasta, squid ink pasta, and grilled mixed fish were all fresh and full of flavor. The seasoning was well balanced, portions were generous, and prices were reasonable. The tiramisu was really nice and not overly sweet, and you could really taste the mascarpone without an overpowering alcohol flavor. A highly recommended restaurant that I would definitely come back again.
We ate lasagne and gnocchi with salmon. Both of the meals were amazing and delicious. The only negative was that lasagne portion was a little small for my 2 meter boyfriend. But they were delicious. I would like to also recommend Aperol Spritz. It was nice.
Great meal for our first night in Venice! We didn't have a reservation, but we were greeted warmly and with a smile and they were able to accommodate us. All the food was well prepared well and seasoned to perfection. We also had a 1/2L of the Rosso house wine. It was served chilled, but was still an excellent house wine. The bread service was the only dissappointing part of the meal, and the reason for 4 stars on food. It was very bland compared to everything else we've had in Italy. There was a €2 per person coperto charge.
So happy we happened upon this spot looking for dinner. As a Canadian east coaster was very impressed by the mussels. Also the pasta was delicious and tiramisu. So glad we came here for our last dinner in Venice, thank you!
