The room is decorated like the interior of a boat, very welcoming and comfortable. The staff is friendly and cheerful but service sometimes feels a bit chaotic or random. The food is okay, the starters are rather big but the pasta sizes are great. Food is somehow challenging at times… the tuna steak with red wine sauce and veal liver on top didn’t work at all and the vegetables were bland. The 3 meats pasta was okay but the tartar in it felt weird and texture was wrong. The cherry tart at the end was delicious but the ice-cream on the side was completely frozen. It’s a nice experiment but a bit too expensive for what we had.

Fantastic, attentive service from start to finish and food prepared with the utmost skill and care. We had several delicious courses made to showcase the quality and freshness of local ingredients and were met by a team of kitchen and service staff who are proud to show them off to their guests. Worth every penny and highly recommended to anyone staying in Venice.

Wonderful food, attentive service and very knowledgeable on allergens (and specifically gluten and Coeliacs). We shared a HUUUUUGE Chateaubriand served with seasonal vegetables and we also shared a Tiramisu. A complimentary salmon taster dish (salmon and samphire) was presented to start which was also a lovely suprise. We first visited about 23 years ago and it's every bit as good as we remember 🙏🏻

La Caravella offers a very pleasant overall dining experience. The quality of the food was high, with well-balanced flavors and careful presentation, while the service was also at a very good level. The atmosphere of the restaurant is elegant and adds positively to the overall experience. The only point that could be improved concerns the pricing, which felt slightly higher than what one would reasonably expect, considering the offering. Despite this, it remains a very enjoyable restaurant worth visiting.
