Best pasta ever ! Best Risotto also. Yes we've been there twice lol for a 2-day stay. This place is definitely worth the visit. Special thanks to the staff for the warm welcome those two times, and for the wine recommendations.
Good job with the Pasta fresca con funghi porcini e gamberoni! € 25,00 The porcini mushrooms were tender, not tough, and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. I loved that there was sauce. And the dish had the most wonderful mushroom aroma.
Food is really good! The old italian guy is very friendly. If not for the guy who served us the wine (with mole on his right face), I would give 5 star. Most of the customers are tourists but I am the only one who was asked where I am from because I am an asian-looking person. And then he unnecessarily proceeded to guess countries. It is very rude and uncomfortable. When I asked him back, he suddenly became unfriendly because he also knows it is not nice. This is not a cheap restaurant so maybe get some manners. The others, however, are really nice.
We had really delicious pasta and were able to sit right by the canal, which made the whole experience even better. The restaurant also seems to have a terrace further inside. The food was fresh and came out quickly. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but overall it was a lovely evening. The service was very friendly as well!
Linguine al frutti di mare is a must-order, al dente and lovely white wine flavour. The fusillione con polpa di granchio blue was cooked al dente as well, and the shape was nice and big. The tartare di tonno rosso was the only miss, would not recommend. The restaurant serves complimentary sparkling wine to start and limoncello to finish.
