Simply the best meal of my life. I can't afford to do the fine dining thing often, but I manage to get to a few Michelin star restaurants a year, and this honestly might deserve more than the one it has. It's more expensive than your average one-star option, but it is more than worth it. 9 courses of genius, attentive but not intrusive service, an interior design that is balanced and oddly calming, wine pairings that exceeded every expectation (a tea pairing and a fruit-based alcohol pairing is also available). I went to the biennale in the morning, ate a 9 course work of art, and went back to the biennale after. A full day of masterpieces.

We had the 9-course tasting menu and really enjoyed the whole experience. The service was excellent. The waiters were very attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome throughout the evening. One small thing about the service that was a bit confusing: we made the reservation about 2 to 3 weeks in advance and booked the 9-course tasting menu, but when we arrived, we still had to choose the menu again. It felt a little unclear why we needed to do that if the specific set menu had already been reserved. As for the food, we were both very impressed. We usually do not love seafood, but we still really enjoyed the menu. The highlight for me was the beef and asparagus. It was the most tender beef I have ever tried. The today’s catch was also very interesting. It was dried fish, but incredibly delicate, tender, and tasty. Unfortunately, the desserts did not impress us as much. The kiwi, chocolate and coconut dessert, as well as the goat cheese, beetroot and red berries dessert, felt a bit too simple and too sweet. They were nice, but neither of them had that “wow” effect. Overall, it was a wonderful experience with amazing service, very interesting dishes, and a few truly memorable moments.

7 course tasting menu on May 7th. The food itself was quite good, especially the bread course. We also enjoyed the cards explaining each course. However, the service and structure of the menu did not feel like a 1 star Michelin. It felt strange that the ice cream cart was only an optional add-on for the meal, when it would have been a delightful ending to the tasting menu (especially when the actual dessert courses were quite small and there weren’t any final chocolates/ small bites). A good meal, but wouldn’t recommend as a Michelin experience.

I visited the restaurant and had an amazing experience! The service was simply excellent, the staff were kind, professional, and always smiling, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I especially loved the open kitchen, the team there is charming, creative, and clearly enjoys what they do. The food was absolutely outstanding! The beet and shrimp dish was unforgettable, and the risotto – without a doubt – was one of the best I’ve ever had. Every dish was beautifully presented, and you could truly feel the love and attention that went into every detail.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Extraordinary Lunch Experience at Ristorante Local We had the most amazing lunch at Ristorante Local in Venice. We chose the 7-course tasting menu with wine pairing, and it was truly unforgettable from start to finish. Each dish was creative, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor — a perfect balance of modern technique and Venetian tradition. The wine pairings were incredibly thoughtful and elevated every course. Alessandra was fantastic — warm, knowledgeable, and even recommended an extra pairing for our pre-dessert cheese selection, which ended up being one of our favorite moments. The entire experience lasted about three hours, but it never felt rushed or drawn out — just perfectly paced and immersive. We left absolutely glowing and couldn’t stop talking about it the rest of the day. A Michelin-star experience through and through.
