⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hands down the best meal we had during our entire trip to Italy! The food was exceptional, beautifully prepared, and every dish was outstanding. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and made wonderful recommendations that made the experience even better. The atmosphere was charming, authentic, and had a true local Venetian feel. If you’re looking for incredible food away from the tourist crowds, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back! 🇮🇹✨

if you like seafood, you must try the Bucintoro seafood experience at Ristorante Oniga. Its a dish unique to this restaurant and its devine! they bring a giant bowl of delicious fresh shellfish and bring a bucket for all the shells. halfway through they mix in a serving of spaghetti which collects all the left over sauce. A minimum order of two servings easily feeds three people if not four. The truffle pasta, fresh bread, and off the menu vegetarian spaghetti were also all.

Anna is the best server EVER! She is so warm and welcoming and made us feel like family. The food is delicious. From the spaghetti to the lasagna to the pesto. We ate here 2 nights in a row. We will definitely return as there is no other place like it.

We reserved for lunch on a rainy day so got seated right away. The decor is « homy » and feels authentic and welcoming. The restaurant is quite small (reckon 50 people max) contributing to its intimacy. The service was efficient and accommodating. Finally, the food is as you would have seen : great produce put under the spotlight by simple yet very local cuisine and methods. I had the tuna and buratta, my mother had the st daniele ham and the spaghetti e ragu. Fantastic experience. Fully recommend.

Had a fabulous late dinner last night and finally found chichetti that we loved! No fishy taste and absolutely delicious!! We ordered 2 portions of the special seafood saute (2 pax min), but it could have easily fed 4 hungry adults! Service was warm and friendly. The 1/2 L of Amarone suggested by our Chinese server paired perfectly with our food. We also devoured the chocolate cake with pistachio cream. Highly recommend this quaint restaurant. We're trying to find a way to fit in another visit before we leave Venice!
