Reviews
This restaurant was absolute perfection. Francesco our waiter really brought the energy and superb service and made sure everything was on point. The food was affordable and delicious for starters we shared the king prawns with zucchini in a lovely sauce which hit the spot and for mains we had the seafood risotto which was also amazing. Overall 10/10 would highly recommend
Ristorante Riviera was one of the most memorable dinners we had in Venice. The location is hard to beat—right on the waterfront with what is arguably one of the best dinner views in the city. Watching the sun set over the Giudecca Canal made for an incredible atmosphere. The seafood was very fresh, and every dish we ordered was excellent. We had the spaghetti alle vongole, sea bass ravioli, and the grilled octopus, and each was well prepared and full of flavor. The wine list was also thoughtfully curated with a great selection to complement the menu. The only downside was that the service was a bit slower than expected. Portions were on the smaller side and prices were definitely on the higher end, but that’s understandable given the quality of the food and the unbeatable waterfront setting. Overall, if you’re looking for a special dinner with fantastic seafood and one of the best views in Venice, Ristorante Riviera is well worth the visit.
Food was delicious but service was ridiculously slow from start to finish. We weren’t given a wine list to start with and by the end we asked 4 different people for the bill. One customer cancelled their dessert as it took 45 minutes to come. Food was great,if you want a canal side table book for 7pm not 7.30 like I did!
Soooo good. We ate there 3 times during our visit to Venice - once for lunch and twice for dinner. Service and food were amazing. So personable. So memorable. Thank you so much for your kind hospitality. You made our trip to Venice (and my husband's birthday) so very special.
Wonderful restaurant!! The food was absolutely amazing as was the service. The pasta was divine, both the carbonara and the cacio e Pepe were top notch. The absolute highlight was the pear tart with ricotta which was one of the best desserts we have had anywhere. Highly recommend this place! Don't miss out if you are in Venice.
