It’s definitely the eye catcher restaurant with quintessential Venetian flair. Unfortunately the food is good but due to the distance and timing it takes to land on the table 2 dishes arrived cold. The Duck was awfully undercooked, the Turbo was very tasty even if cold. Service between first course and second was extremely long. Saying this I would still give them a good service rating. Odd factor-we weren’t asked if we wanted wine with our meal and then also looking around all tables there was only 1 table whom had wine. The setting is outstanding and maybe the kitchen had an off night. Would recommend it for sure.
The food was amazing! My mind and pallet were blown. Every course was a surprise, beautifully presented, and extravagantly awakening my mouth.!
Excellent lunch at Moro Restaurant. Truly superb location at the foot of the Accademia Bridge with direct views over the Grand Canal — hard to find better in Venice. Well-prepared and tasty dishes, interesting menu. Worth noting that the special requests left at booking were perfectly honored (table on the terrace by the canal), which is rare and makes all the difference. Attentive and professional service. A place we recommend without hesitation for lunch in a unique setting. Thank you.
My wife and I were really looking forward to our experience at Moro Restaurant, but unfortunately, we left disappointed. My wife ordered the linguine with fried zucchini, zucchini flowers, basil, and provolone cheese. Visually, the dish was beautiful and thoughtfully presented. However, the flavor fell flat. The basil and provolone were barely noticeable, and the dish overall lacked seasoning. I ordered the tegamino with octopus, monkfish, and mussels. The flavors were excellent, and I genuinely enjoyed the dish. That said, the portion size was surprisingly small considering the price. What was served felt more like an appetizer than a main course. Overall, Moro does an impressive job with upscale presentation and refined plating. The service was good as well. However, the atmosphere came across as somewhat pretentious, and the food did not consistently deliver the flavor expected at this price point. I wouldn’t personally recommend it, especially when there are many other restaurants with beautiful views, better value, and a more welcoming atmosphere.
What an incredible experience. The ambience was beautiful. We felt like we were in a movie. This is a rare gem where the food is as good as the setting. Truly delicious pasta. Some of the very best I have ever had. Service was perfect. A real highlight of our time in Venice.
