We dined here back in 2019 when they first opened and loved it so much. We were happy to find out they are still open for business on our recent trip. The food and service were exceptional, just like before. We don’t drink alcohol and our hotel front desk called in advance to make sure it was OK for us to bring our own non-alcoholic bottle of Pinot Noir to celebrate our final night in Europe. We had a fabulous time and would return in a heartbeat.
We had dinner here recently and really liked the atmosphere. The restaurant is beautiful, the interior is stylish, and even the restrooms are clean and well-designed. The service was friendly and professional. Unfortunately, the food didn't meet our expectations. We ordered the risotto and the zucchini flower appetizer, but neither dish stood out. It's possible we simply chose the wrong dishes, but we expected more in terms of flavor and overall quality. We paid around €100 for two people, and with the 12% service charge added to the bill, we felt the overall price was quite high for the experience we had. It's a lovely place with a great ambiance, but we expected the food to better match the quality of the setting and the price
My absolutely favourite restaurant in Venezia, I honestly don't have much else to say. This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend a couple of months ago, and I finally had the chance to have a meal here together with my mother recently. The service is flawless of course, the wine that was recommended to us was quite interesting and of course perfectly suited for our order. I had Salmone marinato alla rapa rossa con crème fraîche allo zenzero, brunoise di mela verde all’aneto e chips di rapa rossa as a starter (the one you can see in the picture below), and from the very first look I could tell that this dish was truly a piece of art. The plating was the most artistic I've seen so far, and the flavour was absolutely flawless. On a personal note I must say I couldn't taste the ginger in the crème fraîche, but that is very likely to be a personal difficulty instead of an issue with the dish itself. The Tonno rosso cotto e crudo in crosta di pistacchi con botoi alla giudia e maionese alla mela I had right after is definitely the most delicious fish I had so far in my whole life, every single bite of red tuna literally melted in my mouth while crispy crumbled pistachios provided an extra, contrasting, and very satisfying texture. Lastly I had the Biscotto soffice con crema cotta all’arancia e gelato alla lavanda as a dessert and, once again, I had in front of me a real piece of art: the chef adorns each dish with dried flowers and leaves which turn every dish into artistic creations. The Biscotto was delicious, of course, but what stuck me the most was the fact that it was made in a way that it soaked up a sweet pinky syrup, but it could hold it so well that it didn't leak or release any liquid onto the plate. Honestly the best restaurant I've been so far!
Our favourite meal in Venice! Not only was the plating beautiful but the pasta was cooked to perfection both were excellent. If you are looking for style AND substance this is the place!
Carmel was great. At first we couldn’t find anything we’d like to eat on the dinner menu. Carmel asked about what would make us happy, and made sure we get what we want even if they were off-menu. I ended up having the best artichoke confit dish here!
