On our first night in Venice, our host recommended Il Capricio Restaurant and it did not disappoint. We were greeted by the friendly staff and our waiter Antionio was the best. We had a cheese and meat plate as an appetizer with some ice cold beer and some wine. For main courses we had a Sea Bass, Linguine e Shrimp Scampi and Gnokis which were exquisite. If you’re looking for a true Venetian experience you should definitely stop by.

Good food, service and nice ambience. Was able to walk up and get a table outside without a reservation. The pizza was very good and the past was ok.
Great authentic Italian restaurant. The staff was friendly, the decor and vibes wonderful. The grilled fish was just nice but had lots of bones. The squid ink pasta recommended by the waiter was delicious and flavorful. We had a great time there.
Great restaurant in a not so busy area but close to everything! The servers were fun and friendly! Food came out quick. Food was amazing! Would recommend here if you want a dining experience without paying the heavy tourist prices! We recommend the scallops. They were the highlight of our night!
