Great service, amazing views. My sons loved their pasta. And less crowds. You can truly enjoy Venice. They also gave us a limoncello on the house at the end.
What a great place! Kazi was our waiter and great guy. The food and drinks were perfect. Just a really great staff. Can’t recommend enough!
Ok, wow! This was a semi unassuming restaurant, tucked away on a side street away from the main areas. But it had rave reviews so we checked it out. We are so glad we did. Service was great, ordering was easy, and the food was 10/10. My partner had the lasagna which was perfect. We split the chicken which was light and healthy. And I got the lobster pasta which was unreal. The tagliatelle was so fresh and the sauce was flavorful. It was a bit messy though, so be forewarned, but worth it. Overall a delicious and reasonably priced meal in Venice!
While looking for dinner, we wanted a place where people were not constantly walking buy bit near the canal. Caffe del fiori is located just off the canal in a small square. There are sunflowers and planting bins all throughout making it beautiful. We started with the sardines, muscles and the shrimp cocktail-great flavors. Secondi included the branzino, the grilled fish platter, and the fried fish platter. Plenty for four. Dessert included the house made panne cotta, the torta and the tortufo. The service was great - but a little hovering. Checking in frequently to make sure everything was good. They didn’t rush us and offered limoncello too.
Well, I've never done this before, we returned to the same restaurant 2 nights on the trot. We're in a city we've not been to before, so we thought we'd return to the same restaurant we went to last night. The food was again excellent, great service, advice and service from Kazi, well done. This time my wife had Lasagne, while I had the mixed grill fish, both were excellent, followed by the Tirimisu, couldn't fault the food or service.
