I'm seriously doubting the authenticity of reviews in Venice, they cannot be trusted. You have this restaurant at 3.6 where we had the best meal in all our stay (lasagna and spritz were amazing and we shared a pizza which was good) then you have the most tourist trap restaurants at 4.5+ and it's the worst pasta you will ever eat..
We came here to store our luggage as the coffee shop offers different systems. We were also considering grabbing some drinks at the same time. On arrival, it felt like we were transparent. We stayed waiting at the counter for 5mn, watching the waitress do anything she could, clean every bit on her counter to not look at us. No hello, nothing. Maybe I should have called her clearly, but that felt rude and I was happy to wait a bit to give her time to finish what she was doing. However I believe we would have waited an hour, until luckily a different waitress arrived, visibly starting her shift. She was told by the other that we needed to pay. 😂 maybe next time talk to customers. Luckily, the other waitress that helped us was much nicer. According to other reviews, it seems like this place is a hit or miss. If this lady does not like tourists, maybe she shouldn’t be working at a coffee shop in one of the most touristic cities in the world. That experience drove us away from this coffee shop for our drinks and I recommend you do the same.
Excellent food and service several choices of cicchetto and italian pastries- we visited here twice on our visit to Murano. Was perfect sitting outside even when it was raining.
