Beautiful little restaurant in the main square. We both had the sea bream and it was the best sea bream we have ever had! Fish was delicious as well as the vegetables that accompanied it and to finish off we had an iced coffee which came in cute glasses. Perfect afternoon retreat
Best meal we ate on our trip to Venice! All the ingredients were extremely fresh, the caprese was unbelievable. My husband had the traditional Venetian pasta and I had the pomodoro. Both were flavorful and pasta was a great texture, clearly homemade. Tiramisu was delicious: sweet, rich & creamy. The servers were all friendly and attentive and the owner came by to chat afterwards. Additionally, the location was lovely, slightly out of the way of the crowds with a wonderful outdoor seating setup and excellent drinks. Hugo spritz was extremely refreshing on a hot day.
What a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely outstanding, every dish was full of flavour and beautifully prepared. The panna cotta was, without a doubt, the best I have ever had. The service was warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was simply magical and made the evening even more special. What truly set this restaurant apart was the owner, who came to our table personally to chat with us. That small gesture made us feel like valued guests rather than just customers and turned a great dinner into a truly memorable experience. Thank you for a fantastic evening. We would happily return and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Burano.
This restaurant on Burano was such a highlight of our day trip. The setting is charming with all the colorful houses, but the service is what made it unforgettable. The servers were so friendly and spoke great English, which made ordering easy. They made us feel so welcomed from the moment we sat down. Jack especially went above and beyond. His recommendations were spot on – he knew exactly what to suggest. And he kept checking in on us throughout the meal to make sure everything was perfect, without being pushy. Felt like being looked after by a friend. The food matched the service completely. Top notch and so fresh – you could taste it in every bite. Simple, honest Burano cooking done right.
Ordered the chicken, scallops, and a green salad. The plates were presented nicely. Scallops weren’t what we expected. The mashed with the chicken also had some flavour to it that we didn’t love. We were seated inside because it was pouring rain outside. Took a while to get an Aperol spritz we ordered. There were good menu options, and the server was nice, just the food didn’t hit as expected
