We were not very hungry for lunch but 2 pizzas was more than enough for 3 people. The pizzas were excellent - spicy pepperoni was a classic but the pork and pumpkin was a pleasant surprise. We appreciated the complimentary little coffee sweet at the end too. The restaurant is fairly small so best to come early!
Stumbled across this place whilst looking for another pizzeria I'd spotted the day before. I'd had several pizzas during my stay in Venice, and this was absolutely the best by far. It's a very small venue, so can get a bit noisy, but you can still have a conversation without having to raise your voice much. Service was great, and all the waiters were very polite. Main courses were fairly priced. Starters seemed a bit expensive for what they were. I'm not a starter person anyway, so it wasn't really an issue.
The pizzas were fantastic, and the draught beer also very good. Great service and atmosphere. Think small family run, no thrills, well priced classic little bistro. They had starsign themed pizzas which was a fun twist alongside their regular pizza menu. The only thing that let things down slightly were the aperols. Would go back - pizza was around 12/14 euro.
The food here was absolutely delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the sauce on it was exceptional. The pasta was honestly one of the best meals I’ve ever had, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. It can be difficult to find a genuinely good meal in Venice amongst all the tourist spots so finding this restaurant was such a highlight of our trip. The staff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were so impressed by the pasta that we asked our waitress how it was cooked and the chef even came out personally to explain the process to us, which made the experience feel even more special. A fantastic meal, wonderful service, and somewhere I would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Venice.
Upon reading the good reviews, I had booked a table for dinner. The place is small, but somehow it feels cozy. Service was attentive and quick. The food tasted good, when we actually ate it, but like half an hour after leaving our stomachs started feeling heavy and this is why I cannot give more than 3 stars. I especially liked the burrata served with an eggplant cream. The gnocchi with scallops and saffron were fine and the fritto misto was one of the best we tried across many trips to Italy. The desserts were rather disappointing - the tiramisu lacked sweetness and the panna cotta topped with salted caramel was too gelatinous. Still, not sure about the ingredients they use, given that the food didn't sit too well with us. Good wine selection and the prices are overall fine, given the location really close to the Rialto bridge.
