We got some light bites for a late lunch around 3 pm on a weekday, including two drinks, ciccheti, and hot chicken wings. Overall, food was just okay but did seem mostly fresh. The spritz had no carbonation even though we paid an extra euro for prosecco over white wine. Everything else was about average. We did feel like we were getting pushed items on the menu we weren’t asking for and since the restaurant wasn’t very busy, that we were being watched by our waiter the whole time which made lunch difficult to enjoy.
Very good food. The basil pesto pasta and the seafood pasta (frutti di mare) were amazing – definitely one of the best we’ve had. Highly recommended!
My kids loved the food and finished everything on their plates - which says a lot! Portions were generous and filling, and everything tasted really good. The staff were also super friendly and accommodating, making ordering easy and pleasant. Overall, such a nice experience, we’ll definitely come back.
Snack Bar Castello is the perfect spot if you want great food with an unforgettable view. Sitting outside under the striped awning, with the open square and waterfront right in front of you, feels peaceful and cinematic — especially on a calm day. The atmosphere is relaxed, clean, and beautifully arranged. Plenty of comfortable outdoor seating makes it ideal for enjoying a coffee, a cold drink, or a quick bite while soaking in the scenery. The service is friendly and welcoming, and everything is served fresh and nicely presented. It’s one of those places where you sit down for a quick snack… and end up staying much longer just to enjoy the view. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good vibes, good food, and a stunning outdoor setting. Definitely coming back again.
