A truly outstanding lunch experience at Oro Restaurant at Hotel Cipriani. The dining room is breathtaking, with a unique and timeless design that perfectly complements the elegance of the cuisine. Chef Vania Ghedibi delivers refined, beautifully balanced dishes with impeccable execution. The Tribute to Carpaccio, Seafood Caesar Salad and Laguna Club Sandwich were all exceptional, showcasing outstanding quality, freshness and creativity. A special mention also goes to the entire front-of-house team, whose warm, polished and attentive service made the experience even more memorable. My sincere congratulations to Chef Vania Ghedibi and the entire team for creating one of Venice’s finest dining experiences. I look forward to returning.
Speechless! Not a good way to start a review but I was really lost for words for my experience at Oro. There are obvious expectations when you dine at a Michelin star restaurant that sits within a historically world renowned hotel. But when those expectations are totally surpassed, it is easy to be lost for words. Let me start by saying the food is exceptional, however the service is truly what elevates this restaurant to magical status. From the moment we walked in the door the service made me feel like a long lost friend just returned from a longer than expected expedition to the Antarctic. In other words extremely warm and hospitable. Special mention to Mikaela the Manager, wow! Just wow! Oro is so lucky to have you and thank you so so much for your generosity and attention to detail which literally brought tears to my eyes. Along with great service from Leonardo and Salvatore(apologies for any misspelling of names). I have eaten at other Venice restaurants with good food and service but this is the type of dining experience that you will reminisce on for the rest of your life.
