Let’s just say I’ve come here twice! The food and atmosphere are all incredible and it is popular with both tourists and locals. Staff are so welcoming and thank you for the limoncello! Cheers, I’d highly recommend!
I have been coming to Osteria Bifora for 10 years and it has never disappointed! It’s not a visit to Venice without experience a glass of wine and a meat platter here. The food is amazing the atmosphere is superb and the staff super friendly and helpful (with a special shout out to Alex). I highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends and they love it too! Also if you look carefully you may see the image of a face in a milk churn that looks very familiar! It sits on a shelf over the front window or maybe it’s just me?!
This was recommended to us by a local and we are glad we came here on our last night. I called up earlier in the day to make a reservation for 2 but was advised just to turn up. The servers were friendly and attentive. We asked for recommendations about the size of the meat platter (we were deciding between the medium and large platter) and he provided honest advice as we also wanted the seafood platter. We ended up going for the medium meat platter as recommended and glad we did because it was the perfect amount of food for two people. Our server also explained all the items on the seafood platter and was very knowledgeable. A great authentic place for Venetian food. We had around 6 drinks and shared a tiramisu and the bill was very reasonable. The place is very cosy and was the perfect end to the trip.
Wonderful restaurant with excellent food and a very pleasant atmosphere. The service was friendly, attentive, and quick. We felt very comfortable and would definitely visit again. Highly recommended!
