My wife and I had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant. We started with the Mixed Seafood Platter, which offered a great variety of seafood and was full of flavour. The freshness of the seafood really stood out, and it made for an excellent appetiser. For the main courses, we chose the Spaghetti Carbonara and the Baked Sea Bass. While the seasoning was milder than what we are used to as Asians, the dishes tasted authentic. The Carbonara was well executed, and the sea bass was perfectly cooked. To finish, we shared the Tiramisu, which was an excellent choice. It was rich, smooth, and beautifully balanced. My wife absolutely loved it. Personally, I don’t usually enjoy very sweet desserts, but this one was just right for me and not overly sweet. Overall, we had a very enjoyable dining experience. The food was authentic and the atmosphere made for a relaxing lunch. I would happily recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a genuine Italian meal.
The spaghetti Carbonara and the spaghetti with clams where the best pasta we have had in our 2 weeks of italy. Would 1000% recommend it to everyone. The only downside was that the menu is really small; the appetizers, the first menu, the second and the desserts were all on the same page. If you are looking for a bite near San Marco's square this is the perfect place. The service is also amazing very polite and very fast. The atmosphere is also very romantic, with very low lit lights. Overall I would definitely go back if I could
The waiter seated me quickly. The menu was diverse, had LOTS of seafood, and had specials for the day. Elena, the owner, was listening when I asked for a white wine suggestion and suggested a white (Soave Pieropan) to go with the pasta with scampi and zucchini courgettes. A suave, it was a perfect pair! The homemade tagliolini was prepared JUST right, with just a small delicious edge of al dente. Her homemade tiramisu (light, airy, creamy and the 6th best out of 2500 Venice restaurants) with a small glass of moscato was the perfect ending. EXCELLENT RESTAURANT. Run here, it will be worth it.
Had a great meal here...was walking past as near our hotel, it looked just what we wanted. Didn't disappoint in anyway, Paulo our waiter was helpful and friendly. Merlot wine was the nicest we have had in a long time. My pasta dish was excellent and the tiramisu was the perfect finish. Highly recommend this place.
Romantic and intimate with a true Venetian vibe. The menu had plenty of options, generous portions, and everything was cooked perfectly. We loved finally finding a place with a salad option. The filet with wine truffle crème sauce and the ravioli were outstanding. We stopped in earlier to request a reservation since we couldn’t book online, and it was 100% worth it. A true 10/10 dining experience in Venice.
