Probably one of the best bacaro (if not the best one) in Venezia hands down. Their risotto-of-the-day are to die for, and they conveniently offer a half size option for those who want to try their cicchetteria menu as well. In the pictures you can see me and my friend D and L had a Risotto rosmarino e pescheria, three Crocchette di baccalà, a Rosa di Cipolla (my absolute favourite!!) and a Tortino di patate e carote with Mascarpone and Gorgonzola cheese sauce. Their menu is always so creative and their options are genuinely the most unique I've seen so far in Venezia. And if you've got a sweet tooth like me, you can't miss their Tiramisù al pistacchio. One of the few places I go back to again and again.
A pleasant surprise in the streets of Venezia. I was treated very well by the owner, after asking to use the bathroom for my gf and try out some chichetti and wine of the house. You have to eat ahile standing, in side tables, but still it was enjoyable. I'll come back when staying in Venezia.
The best thing I got was the meatball. Get it, you won’t be disappointed. I also ordered the squid ink pasta, and the cod paste thing that’s very common, forgot what it’s called. It was all fine, but just fine, uninspired if I can say so. I’m not usually a seafood pasta guy, but the shrimp pasta is supposed to be the bees knees.. didn’t get it, kinda regret it cuz it was served to the table next to me, I could see why it’s their signature. Big, I mean BIG shrimp. Wouldn’t come back, wasn’t that busy, better choosing another spot.
This place is an absolute hidden gem! The decor is stunning and instantly pulls you in, the food is ridiculously delicious, the service is top-notch and super smooth, and the staff? They make you feel like you’ve just walked into a friend’s home. You don’t stumble across spots like this every day… but once you find it, you’ll feel like you’ve discovered a little treasure right in the heart of Venice 🥰✨🍴
a nice authentic experience! nice atmosphere and very friendly staff to guide you into ordering traditional venetian food. my only qualm was that the food was cold and they’d microwave to reheat it, so some fried items are soggy. still a good introduction to authentic food though! i liked the flavours. it’s standing spaces all around with hooks to hang your coats and bags.
