We ordered spaghetti, linguine, and risotto. The portions were quite small, and the food did not really suit Asian tastes. The flavour was not very satisfying, and considering the price, I expected a more generous and better-tasting meal.
Excellent experience. The service was very personal, Matteo running the bar & wine with great expertise. Fiona was dedicated and equally a delight to be served by. We went for a birthday dinner and it was our best food & dinner experience in Venice but not the most expensive! The front part of the room is cosy, the back might need some Feng-shui input. Overall top and to be repeated the next time in Venice.
The food was absolutely amazing -- there was a good balance in the flavor profiles, stellar seafood quality, and elegant presentation. This is a place I'd happily return to and recommend to others.
A short walk from Piazza San Marco and close to the Grand Canal and yet on a street devoid of clamoring tourists, this seafood restaurant was a wonderful find. We opted for the tasting menu with wine pairings and had a fabulous night. The staff were very knowledgeable, the atmosphere was relaxing and the food was excellent.
Very nice place found randomly! And what a good one! Food was very good and tasty. You can feel the search behind the dish. We found it very tasty. The waitress, Fiona, was lovely and gave very good advices as well. The sommelier helped as well to pair the best wine to our meal. One of the rare restaurants in Venice which is not purely for tourists Very good experience for us and we would come back with pleasure.
