Absolutely the best restaurant we ate at the entire week in Venice, as much for the food as the charm of the friendly staff and this cozy venue. We felt so welcome and they were so kind to my daughter and me. It was such a great experience that we canceled reservations elsewhere and came back a second time for our final night there. We enjoyed everything they have there, from the chicken scallopini with marsala, the pasta with truffle, the chicken scallopini with lemon, and the spaghetti carbonara. Their chocolate cake dessert was delicious too and they served an incredibly robust Cabernet. Also their amuse bouche was bread with some melted Parmesan that was just super tasty. No false notes. Elena and the staff there were excellent.
Excellent experience from start to finish! The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The service was top-notch, friendly, attentive, and professional without being intrusive. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. Highly recommend this bistro, and we’ll definitely be back!
Amazing!!!! Cozy restaurant with delicious and authentic food! Staff is very nice and tells a lot about city and shared a lot of tips from locals ( authentic shopping, destination, produce recommendations) and overall very friendly. Food was just great, very generous with seafood and all is fresh! Even gave some complimentary aperitifs and complimentary drinks and biscuits to finish the meal. Very happy very found this place on our trip!!!
Enjoyed a lovely Anniversary meal and some drinks. We picked this place randomly after we had exausttedly walked allover the place. I felt so relived to open their menu and find I absolutely love; Seafood soup! So instead of just having drinks, we had food too! The soup did not disappoint, instead, it made me feel so much joy because I had not had a spicy seafood soup in many many years! My wife had a pasta dish she loved. The mojito and the spritzers were wonderful. What stood out the most on top of everything else was the service. The waiter was such a pro. Tending to all details and also helping us tourist understand his menu and details of the menu. That right there is called hospitality. Thank you so much for the special memory we will hold on to in our 20th anniversary! We hope to be back in a near future.
An absolute gem in Venice!! If you visit only one restaurant in Venice, make it Bistro 1473! We loved it so much the first night that we came back the very next morning for brunch. Absolutely incredible. The food was extraordinary! Every dish we had left us speechless. Our waiter picked for us and did not disappoint. But what truly sets this place apart is the staff. This team worked together for 16 years before opening Bistro 1473 just one year ago, and that history shows in EVERY single interaction. They move together like a family and they make you feel like one too😊. Warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do, they are the best hospitality team we encountered in all of Venice. One year in, and this restaurant already feels like a Venice institution. Do yourself a favor and get there before everyone else figures it out. Absolute 5 stars! We’ll be back.
