We loved this restaurant! The food was delicious and beautifully served. Our server was a rock star. She recommended food pairings, wine and dessert. She deserves six stars!
An unforgettable dining experience at Corte Sconta. The food was outstanding, but what truly made the evening special was the host. He took the time to understand our preferences and recommended the perfect dishes throughout the meal. What impressed us most was that when one dish wasn’t quite to our taste, he immediately replaced it with another exceptional recommendation. It never felt like he was trying to sell us the most expensive items. His only goal was to make sure we had the best possible experience. That level of genuine hospitality is rare and made our visit truly memorable. Highly recommended, and we will definitely return.
The Best Squid(Cuttle Fish) Ink Pasta I’ve Ever Tasted And a Surprise I Didn’t Expect Our Primi and Secondi were sensational. The Cuttle Fish Ink pasta was like something I’ve never tasted before, at least one person on your table must order it so you all get to try. The Baked Eel on polenta caught my eye for Secondi and I am glad I ordered it. Eel is not something I’m used to eating but now I’ll look out for it on any menu - exquisite. The beef cheek melted like butter in the mouth, a solid choice for the slightly less adventurous dinner guest. All in all, my favourite meal in Venice. Make sure you book as it was busy.
We made a reservation for dinner in advance. We chose the appetizers tasting, which was a fun way to try new things. The first two rounds were really tasty. The other dishes were very different from what we usually eat, but we were happy we tried them. Overall, a nice experience if you want something a bit different.
