Extraordinary service, great food, and Mr. Giulio was extremely kind and helpful. Highly recommended! We had lasagna, spaghetti bolognese, vegetable soup and pizza — everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. The coffee was excellent, and the orange juice was fresh and amazing. Overall, a wonderful experience with top-quality food and outstanding service.
When in Venice, be sure to make this restaurant and, in a way, the waiter, Albano, one of the landmarks to see and experience! Located in Calle del Dose, a rather quiet, narrow street just off Riva degli Schiavoni, this place offers excellent food and service like nowhere else. Pasta, pizza, drinks and desserts, etc. - everything compliments each other perfectly. And as for service, Albano is the best there is - more than 30 years of experience, Sicilian heart and mind, someone who truly cares about the customers, remembers them and knows what to recommend and when. Superb all around! We cannot wait to go back and meet Albano again 😄
We had a great experience here! We ordered the seafood menu, and everything was delicious. The spaghetti was especially amazing! There were 9 of us, and we all got a table without any problems. The atmosphere was really nice, and the staff were very friendly. A special thank you to Julian, who looked after us and made us feel very welcome. At the end of our meal, we were surprised with a complimentary limoncello, which was a lovely touch. We really enjoyed everything and will definitely come back next time we’re in Venice. Highly recommended!
What a gem! This is hands down the best meal we’ve had in Venice. Xhulio was so knowledgeable, explained everything about the food , helped us make a great choice! It was truly melt in your mouth. Him made our evening so special, even playing with our infant when she got restless. The seafood 🍤 pasta was the chef’s choice and it was 10/10! The spaghetti with clams and lime was delicious! The lime zest really brings out the salt water from the clams 10/10. The truffle pasta was so so good 10/10. The red wine 🍷 so delicious 🤤 Valpolicella Ripasso was the best choice 🤌 The beef tartar with burrata 10/10 and Xhulio made it extra special by plating it so elegantly for us since we were sharing it. If you’re in Venice, do not miss this family restaurant! I highly recommend this place
We arrrived from tronchetto after flying from the uk, to find an amazing restaurant in a quirky alley. From the moment the dishes arrived they looked like works of art. The restaurant was stunning with elegant decor and welcoming atmosphere. The food was equally impressive beautifully presented bursting with flavours and made with fresh high-quality ingredients. Not to forget the staff where absolutely superb and looked after us really well thank you. We will definitely like to come again both of us.
