Note for Americans - you need to go inside and give them your table number when you are ready to pay. Amazing food in one of the most beautiful plazas in Venice. Excellent drinks with outstanding food - definitely get the duck ragu and the sea bream. The establishment is very gf friendly and approachable. Service was not as strong as Galllo d’Oro, but still an excellent option.
The best part about this place was the location and atmosphere. We sat on the patio for lunch and it was quiet and relaxing. A great place to enjoy some spritz and cicchetti. We came here because of the carbonara reviews being the best in the city. It was okay. Not the best I’ve had but not the worst either. I understand Venice isn’t known for carbonara but I had been craving it since my visit to Rome a few years ago so decided to stop in bc of the good reviews. Just don’t get your hopes up if you’re a carbonara lover like me lol. Other than that, decent place!
We loved it! The carbonara was large and delicious, but the pappardelle ragù stole the show for me! We loved our drinks and appetizer (the burrata) as well. Food was amazing, very reasonably priced, and the service was great! 10/10 highly recommend!
Absolutely perfect! We went here for our first night in Venice and this place was just outstanding. Great atmosphere right on the square - Campo Santa Margherita. What we ordered: Bellini, caprese salad with burrata, duck pappardelle, tiramisu, and espresso. They had a clam spaghetti special of the month that my husband got and it was so fresh and delicious! Everything was wonderful!! Highly, highly recommend!
If you’re looking to experience the true atmosphere of Venice, this restaurant is a fantastic choice. From the moment you arrive, it really captures that classic Venetian vibe, making the whole dining experience feel special and authentic. The restaurant offers plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, which is a big plus, especially if you want to enjoy your meal while taking in the surroundings. As for the food, everything was delicious. The pasta was exactly what you would expect from a good Italian restaurant, simple, well-made, and satisfying. However, the real highlight for me was the burger. It was surprisingly unique, incredibly tasty, and served with excellent bread that made it stand out. I also tried their white wine, which was very enjoyable and paired perfectly with the meal. In terms of pricing, it’s in line with other restaurants in Venice. As expected, prices are generally a bit higher compared to other Italian cities, but the overall experience definitely makes it worthwhile. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Venice!
