Great food. Mateo provided us great service. The seafood spaghetti was the best spaghetti I ever had no competition. They were very kind and accommodating to my picky eating kids
Picture a beautiful seating outside with amazing music and wonderful staff. The vibes are immaculate, the food is delicious and the staff is so friendly, you’ll want to add them on Facebook afterwards 🤣🤣.. The staff is very honest about their dishes and this helps make your decision quicker and I need this cause I’m very indecisive. I genuinely enjoyed my time here.
We just visited Osteria al Giardino and it was such a delicious meal! Matteo was our server and treated us like queens! We actually heard about this restaurant from another tourist in florence earlier that day and they couldn’t recommend it enough. So obviously we had to try it and we are so happy we did! We ate the scallops, vongole, frutti di mare, the sea bass (melts in the mouth) as well as the tiramisu and the crema catalana. Absolutely amazing! If you’re looking for good service, fun atmosphere and great food, go to Osteria al Giardino!!
Wow, what a disappointment. Got snookered by not reading more of their reviews. Our family of five visited here for dinner Sunday night. The orders of pasta and fish were OK, nothing above average. I ordered the Florientine steak which by our servers description sounded great. Turned out to be the worst beef I'd ever eaten, or I should say "attempted" to eat. Extremely tough, grisseley, and overall not fit for human consumption. And finally the pizza for our youngest was hard and tough not at all what a good pizza should be, he couldn’t even eat it. If you're looking for a "good" meal, one worth spending your hard-earned money on look elsewhere, avoid Osteria al Giardino. I'm being generous on my rating simply because the service was ok, at least until our food was on the table.
We had a wonderful experience at Osteria al Giardino! We ordered the Tagliatelle con Gamberetti e Zucchine, and it was absolutely delicious. The pasta was perfectly prepared, and the shrimp were fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. A special thank you to Fabio, who took great care of us throughout our meal. Before arriving, we also met his brother Alex, who kindly spoke with us on our way to the restaurant next door. He explained that both restaurants are owned by their father, and it really showed. Everything flowed seamlessly, from the warm welcome to the excellent service and quality of the food. The family atmosphere, attentive hospitality, and outstanding meal made this a memorable dining experience. If you’re looking for authentic Italian food and genuine hospitality, Osteria al Giardino is definitely worth a visit!
