We are from the United States, visiting for a couple days. We walked by the window and saw they had GREAT happy hour deals, cheapest spritz and beers we’ve seen since coming to Italy (or close to cheapest at least). Salvo was our waiter, friendly dude and relatively attentive, though all waiters were willing to help us. We spent a good hour or so here drinking and talking. They played top global hits for a while, which I rather enjoyed. Then they played some nice classical stuff, felt very Italian. Everyone we talked to was nice, drinks were great, WOULD recommend.
The most amazing restaurant in Venice! They have a beautiful table outside where you can watch the gondolas sail by, make sure to book if you can, only 10 euros per person. The best carbonara I have ever had in my life, lovely Hugo spritz and fabulous seafood. Salvo was the best, will definitely be back! Thanks Osteria and Salvo.
Service was smooth, our server went on a break and I never felt forgotten. We tried a grappa for the first time they have 10-20 different options. The aperol spritz are $5-7 depending on happy hour. We ordered the steak, lasagna & tartare. They cooked the steak perfectly. Lasagna was flavorful.
The taste and presentation of the food were immaculate. Booked a table on the terrace which showed a nice view of the canal and gondolas passing by. I was served by Islam and he was very lovely. The food came out quickly. Highly recommended. The only thing is that it was raining so not many gondolas passed by but that’s on me for not checking the weather forecast. I also recommend making a booking if you want the terrace because there are only 4 tables or so.
This is such a lovely place, cute and cozy ambiance, everyone working here is very friendly and also funny, and the food is amazing!!! I got the sea bass and wow, i didn't realize i was getting the entire fish😅 but it was cooked so perfectly and the sauce was light and delicious👌My server David was awesome and did a wonderful job at cutting the fish for me. I had a lovely experience here and definitely recommend eating here. I want to come back and try their cicchetti, they all look great!
