Arguably some of the best, fresh seafood I’ve had. This restaurant had a such a lovely and cozy ambience. My family and I were greeted and served by a sweet gentleman that made us feel at home. Apart from the seafood appetizer, I would highly recommend the Carbonara and the Tagliolini Gamberetti E Funghi! Will certainly be returning!
Staff was nice and friendly but they were a bit disorganized and the food took a long time to come considering we ordered pasta dishes, nothing really complicated. The restaurant was almost empty (no super high season) so we expected a faster service. If you go with little time not sure if it is a good idea or maybe let them know before hand. The food had nice flavors but it was a lot of pasta with barely any of the toppings. The polenta with squid ink plate was a very small portion for the price.
Just went here for dinner tonight with my wife and we enjoyed the food a lot. I had something similar to shrimp scampi except it had spaghetti noodles instead of angel hair pasta. My wife had the carbonara pasta. I really enjoyed my meal. It had just the right amount of red pepper flakes and everything. Not too oily either which I appreciated. We got in right before the crowds did as well which was nice. The man who attended us was nice and even kind of funny. I would go back here again. for sure.
Tried several pasta dishes—squid ink pasta (al nero) and fruitti de mare, to name a few. They tasted fresh and delicious! We paired them with a good bottle of wine and ended with great tiramisu. :) Service is also impeccable. Hosts were kind and entertaining 🥹 Playlist is great as well (70s-90s Italian music), really got us into the Venezian mood 😄 Grazie Mille! 🫶🏼
I was looking for Mediterranean fish restaurant and I was quite happy I found this place online. How I missed this kind of food, you can’t imagine. Friendly nice staff/owner. Good service, nice atmosphere. I wish it was a better weather to sit outside, but maybe next time. You can do walk-in, but it’s better to make a reservation as the place can easily be full at dinner time. After we went for the restaurant I realized that part of Venice is the part where art people hang out. I have seen nice stores and art places on that street. I wished I came earlier before all shops closed down. The restaurant is on the beginning of that lively area and it being more quiet is a good thing. As a coin collector myself, I really liked the coins/small banknotes people left. We (2 people) had vegetable soup , mix grilled fish, tramisu. Everything was overall fine. Grilled fish was really coal-grilled, not electric :) serving staff was quite quick and nice. The day we were there, I wasn’t cheerful myself with the -almost-cold I had. Sorry if I had given a little low vibes. I really enjoyed it.
