Our final meal in Venice was spent here, and honestly I wish we had gone sooner. The service was warm, friendly, and inviting in an intimate environment. The good reviews are definitely justified. The sarde in saor was flavorful. The calamari was seasoned perfectly, and the linguine with prawns and zucchini was one of the best pasta dishes I'd had in Venice. The free limoncello at the end sold us on returning whenever we're in Venice again. The staff definitely know how to treat visitors. Highly recommended.
Really nice restaurant, it was super quiet when we came and we were the only customers for some reason. The pastas were good, I had the ink one, and it tasted subtle but really pleasant. The one with the lobster had more flavour and I think it's definetely worth it. We also tried the fried squid, which wasn't super cheap, but the portion was really big and it tasted fresh and it was tender. Pretty solid and good meal.
I went here for lunch around midday, and it was relatively quiet, which made for a very relaxed experience. I ordered the fritto di mare, and it was excellent—fresh, slightly salty seafood with a great texture, and it really comes together when you add a squeeze of lemon. I also had the tiramisu at the end, which is around the standard €6 price, but honestly one of the best I’ve had. It comes in a small bowl and tastes genuinely homemade—rich, balanced, and just incredibly good. Not sure how they manage it, but it really stands out.
Ended up being in the top 3 pastas we tried throughout Rome, Florence, and Venice! Very quiet spot. Marco was a great server. Marco if you read this, can you please tell me what type of wine the 4€ glass of red wine was? :) forgot to ask and it was delicious. Would return next time we are in Venice!
