We were lucky to have a outdoor seating at 7pm opening time as they had only one table left as all others were reserved. We ordered mixed seafood pot (min 2) with salad for 3 people. The food was fresh and reasonable price. The restroom was clean & nice looking too. Best one out of 4 restaurants we visited during our stay at Venice.
4 of us arrived at opening time at 7 on Thursday night and seated immediately. Just had to leave by 830. We ordered 2 primi and 2 secondis to share. Sharing made easy by staff with individual oval plates. We’ve been eating cuttlefish with black squid ink and black spaghetti with octopus all over venice 3-4 times and the preparation here with polenta is by far the best we’ve enjoyed. The umami is outstanding. Sliced beef chees outstanding. Best tiramisu we’ve ever had and then we made Sleepless in Seattle jokes. The Amarone Classico was great accompaniment
I visited this restaurant based on its high Google ratings and had the mackerel (fish of the day) paired with a quarter of red wine. The food quality was excellent, and the wine recommended by the staff was truly amazing. However, I found the portion sizes to be quite small for the price, so it didn’t feel like the best value for money. On the plus side, the service was top-notch—the staff was attentive and very helpful with recommendations.
Was recommended to the restaurant for serving good authentic Venetian food which turned out to be underwhelming and overly salted. Also it took more than 100 minutes to be served a three course meal. The only consolation was the somewhat attentive service from the female server.
