Trattoria La Divina Comida
Venice
Reviews
We enjoyed visiting this restaurant a few times while we were in Venice. The food was incredible. The staff were even better. They treated us like family and we look forward to visiting again. Delicious!
This was one of my favorite meals in Venice! I highly recommend this restaurant. I had the cacio e pepe, which is a simple pasta dish but when done right, it’s fantastic. I had the filet with green peppercorn sauce that was superb. Also, the Lemoncello tort was delicious! Add the couple glasses of wine, and it was a fabulous meal. You will not regret eating here.
Amazing little place right off a canal in Venice. Food was amazing, staff was wonderful and they had air conditioning which helped in this unreasonable hot weather. Try the Tagliatelle with scallops and mushrooms. Best thing I have ever ate. Dessert was amazing. Great Pinot Grigio as well. Limoncello was a special treat! Small local restaurant with amazing food. Must try!!!
We dined at Trattoria La Divina Comida both nights we were in Venice post-cruise. I did a ton of research and found that this restaurant was rated 6 out of over 1500 in Venice on TripAdvisor so I wanted to give it a try. The food was fantastic (again, so much so that we returned on the 2nd night). We tried the prosciutto with buffalo mozzarella, calamari fritti, cacio e pepe and spaghetti with clams. Everything we ate was delicious! We had limoncello after dinner and was given dessert both nights... one night it was a meringue dessert and vanilla bean panna cotta. I can't say enough good things about the restaurant, our server and the whole experience. If I visit Venice again, this will be the restaurant I go back to!
This unassuming restaurant was my favorite meal and experience during my trip throughout Italy. My friend and I settled on this location because they were close to the Venezia bus station and had gluten free pasta options and a regular cacio e pepe dish. It’s wild to think a search for such simple criteria worked out so well, leading us here. Service was exceptionally warm and welcoming from the moment we stepped in. When who I assume was the owner, knew I had gluten restrictions, they brought out gluten free bread for me to start as well. I ordered the spider crab pasta dish gf, which turned out to be so flavorful yet well balanced. It was so tasty I had to order a second bowl of pasta and turned to a gf cacio e pepe option. That was fabulous as well - despite the creaminess, the dish was not heavy or overcome with cream. It was just simply tasty and once again, well balanced. The same was said for the regular cacio e pepe as well. Pastas were cooked al dente, to perfection and I couldn’t help but wish I had ordered a third. It was a wonderful last meal to close out this Italy trip, complete with complimentary limoncello and meringue dessert post dinner. Thank you for having us, we hope to return soon!
